Leaving Yokohama June 20, 2018

We attended muster for the safety program, which took twice as long as it was in English, followed by Japanese version. About 75% of the passengers are Japanese, which is quite different. The food in the buffet, is more oriental slanted, with udon noodle bowls, etc.  so interesting !
People were lined up along the shore, waving bon voyage. Have never seen that before. A lot of fun.

A quiet day at sea, after a little bit of rough night at sea.  One of the staff told us that it is always rough around Yokohama. Tonight is a formal night, so Craig will be in his tuxedo and looking quite spiffy. Tomorrow we land in Busan, South Korea.  Going to a Korean Barbecue!  Will try to post pictures....

Leaving LAX

Hotel Nikko, Narita Japan

We spent the night in this lovely economy hotel, near the airport. Had some really awesome features. Craig promised we could get a bidet like this when we get back home ..... it dispenses warm water ! We wandered around the hotel while waiting for the bus to take us to the ship, about 1 1/2 hours away.  Really enjoyed this hotel. People are very nice and they even have coffee !
